A new dynamic page, GeneRegulationView, displays all the regulatory factors for a given gene; it can be reached via the lefthand menu on a GeneView page where the gene has regulatory information available.

The 'schema version' entries in the core 'meta' table have been changed to hold the current version numbers. This allows the API to check that the software and databases are using the same versions and give meaningful error messages.
This release of Fugu data is assembled into scaffolds, so there are no chromosomes available to browse. Use the BLAST link in the menu bar, left, or the search form, right, to locate data.
A few example data points :
This site presents version 3 of the Fugu genome, released in July 2002 by the International Fugu Genome Consortium. Fugu rubripes has a very compact genome, with less than 15% consisting of dispersed repetitive sequence, which makes it ideal for gene discovery.
The latest assembly is based on 5.7X coverage of the genome, and includes 329 Mb of the 365 Mb genome. Please refer to the Fugu Project's Webpage for more details of the sequencing effort.
Fugu Ensembl is a joint project between the IMCB and the EMBL - EBI to produce and maintain an automatic annotation of the Fugu genome.
